The sun was high in the midafternoon. Perry smiled to himself "business will be great again today". He always prided himself on buying goods at a much higher price than Cordor shops. It was what attracted most of his business. As he looked around his stand, he thought perhaps it was time for a cosmetic change. "Hmm.. I'll just put these over by the tents.." he grinned to himself as he began to move and stack his fire tops. He got them sorted and smiled at his work, turning to straighten his cushions for better viewing. As he turned, unknowingly his leg shook the table with the fire tops.

The stack shook, causing the tops from the stack to fall one set off.. and it only took one. It fell beside the tents, the dryed fabric catching aflame quickly. Perry didn't notice until the flames had spread, the tents, stools, his stand, all of it in flames. The smoke rose high in the sky, alerting a few brave adventurers taking a break inside Cordor. They came out, casting spells, filling their helms with water draining from the bath house. The flames died down.. barely ankle height, when a bard approached, letting out a hard gust of wind and killing the remaining flames.

Perry was distraught.. all of his work, his stand, his cushions! Ruined, most of it destroyed. The remaining adventurers helped him to salvage what they could. Perry knew it wouldn't be the same. After consulting with his saviors, he was struck with an idea.. he'd rebuild his stand. He couldn't give up. His customers were loyal, he knew they would come back. Any of his regular customers will however, notice that he no longer buys items at the same discounted rate. Some items, he will refuse to buy altogether, if he sees no profit to be made.

//Normally I do not post my events in PC story. However, there was a pricing bug with this merchant. It was fixed in our last update, I hope the story helps to explain the change ICly.
