Word spreads quickly of the recent attack on Wharftown by a human group, compainioned by constructs. They successfully managed to slay two followers of Selune along with four on-duty militia men, before they trapped all of the unresisting citizens into a nearby, sea-side cave.

Their plans took a back-fire when a follower of Selune retaliated, managing to slay all of their weakly built constructs as well as all but two of the forces on shore. A lucky cut in the side of the follower caused him to become unconscious for a short time, where they left immediately.

A note was left at his feet, which, when read to the point, says, 'Wharftown will be Ric's. We'll be back.'.

The follower of Selune awoke sometime there after, and read the note. He then proceeded to recooperate his wounds and then went to free those trapped in the cave (which the note had mentioned, for some reason.) Seeing they were all well and learning of what happened, he approached Galverson in Cordor to inform him of what happened.

Galverson posts notice around Cordor saying;

'OFFICIAL GUARD NOTICE - DO NOT REMOVE

Recently, Wharftown was attacked by a group of unknown brigands. While we cannot remove any from the current posts of Cordor, it is asked that if anyone were to be involved in such an attack that they gather as much resistance as possible to defeat these lawless dogs. They are known to attack by sea, and move with brutal speed. Known to have constructs amongst them, take this into consideration. Leader of this group could be named 'Ric'. Thank you for your co-operation. '
