*In numerous places across the Isles are these large, likely extremely expensive banners are placed in public throughways and places of large traffic. People of varying sizes and races wearing steel blue, black, and tan are seen hanging tacking them up. Periodically, they, or Beldor himself, come by to check to make sure they are still up, occasionally standing near them for a good while, gauging the reaction of passersby and just observing, though likely watching for vandals as well. They possess some strange magic that changes the language the message is written in, if one speaks one of the languages infront in proximity to them. Common, Elven and Draconic are recognized by the posters on the surface and Common, Undercommon, and Draconic by those in Underport and Wiltun. Any other languages or none spoken at all merely make the poster show Common. They read as follows:*

Greetings, from the Honorable Serpent!

It is out pleasure and delight to present this island with a Mage Fair and Exposition of Magic, The Art, and Knowledge. Come join us. See wares and fellow users of the Art from around the Realm and Beyond. Share, trade, gain knowledge to your craft and Magick. Revel and celebrate the Gift of the Weave with your brothers and sisters in the Arcane Arts. We shall have:

-Mage Games
-Exotic Merchants
-Dueling Areas
-Lectures and Workshops

And, most importantly and prestigiously

THE MAGUS JUDICIUM

The trial by which spellswords, swordmages, and battlemages who have the courage, the skill, and the honor to join the ranks of the Honorable Serpent shall have their chance. Yes, for the first time in our history we are hosting a trial through which the public may be offered admission into our organization. Members of the Academy of the Mystic Blade are especially encouraged to participate. It would be our deepest honor to have you among us.

There are but a few simple rules for this affair.

1. This event is chiefly for those who have explicit use of the Weave. Namely, Wizards, Sorcerers, Cantomancers and Bards, Truenamers and Artificers of the Arcane. Users of the Power and Divine are allowed entry, so long as they can craft wares, such as scrolls, potions, wands, or the like. HOWEVER:

All permitted Users of the Art are allowed to bring 1(one) guest. A single guest for whom they are responsible should they cause any trouble, damage, or suffer any injuries of any kind to themselves or others attending the Fair. Choose your guest wisely.

2. Keep all brouhaha to the Duel Arena. If you start excessive trouble, you will be made to leave. No, not asked, you will be made to leave, and possibly not in one piece. This exposition is open to all who use the Art. If you feel there are certain magics, methods, creatures, or peoples that would require you by your morals to take physical action against them, that you cannot restrain to words, then it is likely best you do not come. Political, Magical and Theological debates are permitted, but only debates. Should your arguments come to blows, you will soon find yourself in a compromising state. And by compromising, we mean unconscious.

3. Enjoy yourself. Make merry. Be responsible. This is intended to be a festivity and thanksgiving of what the Weave has blessed us few with. Attendees are responsible for their magics, their effects on others and their property. Summons are only allowed in the Duel Arena and otherwise designated areas. Familiars may be about, but they are to stay by their master's side AT ALL TIMES. Should you leave your familiar unattended, or should they stray off, our officers may not recognize them as such, and well, shet happens. Be smart about what you say and what you insinuate to others. Our members shall play peacekeepers during the event, not bodyguards. Don't ruin what could be an otherwise joyous day for you by making poor judgement that leads to you waking up at the Salandran's Ward, or worse, not waking up at all.

SANDY BEACH. ONE TENDAY. THE MAGIC HAPPENS.

//Moved to Sunday the 12th, all day if possible. Watch out for more details or date changes.

A gold and white clad mage passes by one of these notices in Cordor and chuckles to himself.

"This should be interesting..."

a man in a dark hood ponders, the exact meaning of "explicit use of the Weave" and makes a note of the time and place, his staff slung over his shoulder in a casual manner.
