*** The devastation in Ultrinnan was centered to the city centre. Cracks and chasms covering the ground, parts of the cave roof now on the floor. Buildings were slightly damaged from the rooves... and from the rubble, tiny spiders could be seen 'crawling' out. ***

May walks toward the city center, seeing all the guards and spiders scrambling about, as she had felt a few of the shakes around the house earlier, interrupting her usual daily work. She frowns, looking over the damages to the buildings and sees a few of the commoners standing about chattering about the incident.

Have the Illithids or those....sea creatures been at it again? This is going to end -now- ...

After the Ilharess Aluziria had left for the temple with the priestesses and the males had scattered to investigate the damages, Nilbrix wandered to the Sorcere and took out his spellbook. He already had in mind what he wanted to do, and just needed to check the details.

Nilbrix hurried out of the Sorcere, and told the jaluken he met to find any clear gems they could get hold of, and gather all the mages in the city.

Some hours later, two mages and two warriors were seen walking around the city, measuring the size of the cave and the damages of the ceiling. Having talked enough, the faern Xan took some diamond dust from his pouch and started chanting, as Nilbrix and Bae'Vrae of Arabett, and a houseless selvetargtlin Celdren watched quietly. The casting took a long time, and eventually it was Nilbrix's turn, who took his time as well.

Finally they were finished, and Nilbrix collapsed, vomiting on the ground after casting the very demanding Permenancy spell to keep the Walls of Force from fading. Half of their work was done, but they'd need to repeat this tomorrow. Nil finally got up, and looked at the ceiling of the cavern that is Ultrinnan.

Two long and wide barriers of invisible force shimmered in the heights, visible only because of his magic detective eyes. The other ran from the docks, across the cave to the entrance of the residential area, and the other one ran from above the gate to the north wall of Ultrinnan central, passing the portal on the way.

Maybe this'd keep the city from falling and crushing them underneath it in the coming weeks.

The rest of Ultrinnan cave roof was repaired, and seems to hold. Little shakes have been happening now, but no damage was done after the magical walls were constructed.
