In the late hours of the past evening (Of the 30th, for reference) all manner of stinging and biting insects on the island gathered and moved through it in a force. There wasn't a discernable direction to follow as they first gathered into smaller groups, but the swarms of centipedes, hornets and ants would have been a rather disturbing scene to witness.

Alitha can be found in the back of the Grove trying to win the trust of a strange panther that she has never seen in the Grove before. Her love for animals drawls her towards it, and of course since it is a panther, it tugs on her heart strings even more to see it in such a sad state.
