Anyone entering the grove now will see an almost absolute lack of life. Any plants that would maintain color and vibrancy throughout the mild winter climes are now withered and brown. The trees are bent over towards the ground and skeletal, lacking any nutrients. The only remaining life there, is the sacred tree stump in the center of the druid circle and the tree that is used for root travel. (Which glows)

The same applies, though the area directly around the druid circle has been restored and several healthy trees surround it now.

Several druids and rangers were seen in the grove almost directly after this occured, casting a spell to hallow the area. For nearly 16 hours they could been seen in prayer at the druid circle. In the following days they walked the grove, planting seeds from the duir tree and calling on spells to renew plant life.

Alitha shutters and hides from everyone in Duir's Grove after having to do, what needed to be done. Davey's arm now removed, that part of the threat is now gone, but this was far from over yet, she could feel it. Tears stream down her cheek freely now that she is alone for the moment.
What must be done, was done, let us just hope only his arm is what needed to be taken. She also hopes letting Davey leave the prison after the deed was done will not be something that she regrets later.
She dries the tears when she hears someone approach and proceeds to tell Theos all that took place.

*Theos has been unavailable contemplating what appropriate punishment should be assigned Davey for this latest transgression; but having no precident for such an insideious act against Nature, he is perplexed with how to proceed. In fact, it is an act no druid; whether good or evil would contemplate; and thus Theos has no context in which to place this latest attrocity. The appearance of several alledged druids and rangers calling themselves the "White Stag" are but the latest annoyance, and he makes note of it along with the latest antics of the Darkwills, Fuma'Vhids, Cordor guards, and other people who have attacked the grove or made it their foe recently...with little or no reason.*

Upon hearing the knews Trey goes to his desk in the quiet dark room conscripting a letter to Willow whom he believes to be one of the elders.
Dear Willow,

Greywolf tired after another long patrol, returns to the Grove to see how the new growth is progressing. After seeing new growth he smiles, heads up stairs and gets some rest. Remembering the long guard time while the druids prepared there Hallow spell, then a long patrol, he is looking for a good long rest for a time. Whitepaw has decided to play in the tunnels between the grove haven and the party grounds, finding a nice place to rest himself.

Wiggan stooped to her knees, put her hand into a burlap bag, and pulled out a seed. With her fingers, she pushed a hole into the loamy earth.
"I don't understand why anyone would do this... It's so.. pointless." She muttered.
Her small hand cupped the duir seed, and she set it down in the hole she had made. But she did not cover it up. Something caught her eye, a dark spot on the side of the seed. She pulled the seed out of the hole with her fingers, inspecting the spot closely. It seemed to be some sort of fungus. She put that one in her pocket, and reached for another.
Inspecting the new seed closely, she gaped at the small black tendrils that had spread around it. Putting that one also in her pocket, she opened up the bag hastily and began sifting through them all.
The bag dropped from her trembling hands. She stood slowly, looking around at the grove, where already new trees had started to grow.
Eyes full of fear, she left the bag where it fell on the ground, and walked listlessly toward the circle. In the bag, there were only five left. All the others had been planted.
Wiggan stopped and knelt on her knees in front of a newly growing fern. She carefully inspected its base and leaves, caressing the gentle growth with her touch. No disease... no fungus. The plant seemed fine.
She turned her head to the side, thinking. "Just my seeds?" She stood, took one long look at the circle where just two days ago, she had prayed. Her shoulders bent down, she lowered her head, and at a quick pace, left the grove.

*Willow sends over a large shipment of various supplies to the grove. Piles of books and bookcases, assortments of cushions, chairs, and so on. There is no real explaination for it really, no note. Only a diagram of a large treehouse set-up and drawings of the proper arrangement for statues and druidic plates that are also delivered, drawn without a great deal of skill but with small annontated notes in a familiar hand along certain sections.*

A large detachment, nearing a whole batallion are sent from shadowscape, the guards actively patrol every square inch of the forest, making no attempt to hide their numbers.
Shadowscapes grove also sends over the majority of their druids, working in tandem, under the direct orders of funiculus, along with the amian druids.

Irraere D'Vreeze is seen fleetingly in the Grove from time to time, her beautiful white wings trailing behind her like gently rolling waves. Through the destruction and death around her, she seems to brighten the atmosphere, despite the despair. Her gentle eyes and kind smile bring just a bit of hope, and she seems insistent upon helping in any way possible. On several occasions, she is seen casting various spells and cantrips while searching through the lifeless foliage.
On one occasion, she is seen carrying a metal box in both of her delicate hands, quickly rushing towards Alitha to deliver it.

*Theos has been seen directing elementals excavating a very large amount of dirt from somewhere; though the source is not readily apparent. Overhead, great swarms of birds have gathered and Theos has climbed trees to speak with commune with them; though over what, no one is sure*

Earylduil is seen in the grove rather frequently, despite the fact he vowed never to return to the place. Ignoring the somewhat distasteful gazes of those around he works frantically to restore the grove to it's once beautiful state, casting many plant growth spells and tending to all the animals there. He seems to remain somewhat silent as he works.

Alitha looks up from her planting a moment and giggles to herself watching the elementals and Theos, knowing most of what is in store and what a big surprise it will be. Why the birds though? She would have to ask him about it later.
She then returns to running around helping the workers where she can, and making sure they have plently of things to eat and drink. She steps happily, a smile on her face as she sees the many faces that have come to help.
Alitha takes the box from Irra smiles and thanks her, and grimaces as she puts another bag inside it. She shivers as she remembers the sound of the falling blade echoing again in her ears. She closes the box and tucks it back away into her pack. "Irra, I do hope this will be the last one I will have to order from you. Thank you very much, I am in your debt."
A thought enters her head, oh I should make sure I improve the kitchen a bit more. She giggles, have to make sure I have the room to make more pies since story night has grown so large. Really, she thinks to herself she should write thoses recipes down as well, so the others can learn to make them as well.

After a long rest, Greywolf grabs Whitepaw and begins helping around the grove, removing all the dead trees and plants so new ones can be grown. He piles most of the dead wood into piles and burns them carefully, then spreads the ashes widely in the grove to give them renewal. The he and Whitepaw help with some of the plans that Willow sent putting up stones, and supplies. " ah good, a new and renewed grove soon, The blessing of Obi hai and Mielikki will insure the grove last a long time." With that He finnishes helping then takes Whitepaw and heads out to the forest beyond to insure no interuptions distract the druids.

* Andaion returns to the grove, a few days after leaving..seeing that most of the clean up is done. He also look around at the new additions that are being set up with a raised brow and a smirk. "Well...always thought this place needed some work.." He turns, adjusting the new artifical hand, hopeing it to be gone soon and moves on, heading into Shadowscape*

*Elementals of course bar Davey from returning to the Grove as he is no longer welcome until the council can meet to decide his fate; he is allowed to go unfettered to see Carino on Shadowscape, of course; but it is the last he'll see of the Grove unless the council rules otherwise.*

*After trying to re enter the grove a second time, but being stoped by the elementals, Andaion stands on the far side of the stream and chucks a pebble at one of them, hitting it in the head. "You stupid rock, Im a high druid, you can't keep me out of a grove!" He says chucking another, slightly larger stone. The Elemental turns slowly and raises its massive arms in the air, but Andaion is gone, and could have been seen running as fast as he can along the dirt road to the end of the forest, where he stops to catch his breath and continues on, heading to the mountians*

The male drow stood outside the gate to Bendir Dale, helmed and hidden, alongside the others who were eagerly waiting to see if that huge stone golem would proceed toward Bendir Dale and on toward the grove.
It didn't.
But the male did make a snide remark about surfacers, and Wiggan's ears turned toward him at once. "Ultrinaan," she thought.
"Show respect, and remove your helm, jaluk." Wiggan commanded. Much to her surprise, the male complied, there in the presence of others in the town not normally know to be friendly to the darkskins.
Wiggan approached, and whispered. "Put it back on, you idiot, or you will be slaughtered at once if anyone else suspects you are from Ultrinaan!" Again, the male complied. "Yes of course, Jabbress."
After the underworld drow and Wiggan conferred a bit in the trees, she sent him back to his home. Wiggan returned to the grove, and took great care tending the newly growing plants, in spite of the fungus that had infected her previous batch of seeds.
She eyed the elementals and their excavations, curious, wondering why the Arch Druid lurking in the trees with the birds had never noticed her before, wondering what he was doing, and what was going on.
She shook her head, and set her mind back to planning her training as her fingers worked at the soft earth, tending fragile shoots of life with her dark, thin fingers.

*valawyn stepped inside the grove, this day he hasnt found any of his friends, not at Cordor, nor wharftown, nor the tower. Somehow he was not visiting the Dale and now he found himself inside the amia forest and then in the middle of the grove, he looked arround and slowly deep sadness sneaked into his mind about the fact that the place where he first found respect and actually attention for his arts was in such a bad state. . . ."what to do. . .what to do" he thought. . glancing arround,
he drummed the fingers of his right hand against his left arm, biting his lower lip thinking hard, then he stepped quietly into a portal that lead him to mystra's tower. . .and mystra's grove.
He so stepped out the gate. . and after a short while he found what he was looking for, a young tree, young enough, so it was still able to dig it free, but yet strong enough to make a short travel and to be placed at a new place.
So he wasted no second thought, his gloved hands digging in the earth and he began to dig the young tree free, with nimble fingers shoving away the earth.
After an hour of work he finally made it. . the tree was freed from the earth, the young fresh, life filled roots intact as he lifted it up, his clothes covered with dirt and mud as he lifted the young tree with quite some difficulties.
His free hand fishing for the portalrod as he again opened a portal to the amia forest. . .a funny view there was seen then. .
a walking tree moved carefully through the forest, which became, as people look closer at it, a an elven bard in mud covered red and white vest . . ."oh my. .what bustier would say how I mess up this outfit. . . but well. . .its for the grove. . .*he laughed in his mind* its for my first fans even" he thought and steped inside the grove.
Only Isola and Naerth were arround at that time and saw him as he started to dig a hole at the end of the grove, his gloved hands again not shy digging a good hole free and shoving earth aside, his body covered in sweat under the for him quite hard and unusuall work.
Finally there was enough space for the tree to be planted and so he dropped some water from his bottle on the fresh roots, refilled it at the river and spilled even more water over the young fresh roots as he started to cover the roots with earth again he suddenly began to sing.
His smooth long trained voice filling the grove hoping to give the people which live there a bit of hope back, since they had to stand so much lately*
Where it started once, I am again
The grove is where I'm within
since cordor never regarded my tries
I stepped out to the forest one night
what to my suprise had I to find
friends which listend to my songs and smiled so bright
Not like cordor that deaf town
which I look upon since those early days with a frown
No the grove it was where I found
the people who listen to music and art without a frown
So hear me now you people here
The bard is giving a promise so hear, so hear
in times of danger, trouble then,
there shall be yelled, without, within. . .
BARDS OF AMIA COME SO SOON,
to defend the grove, even if you see the moon. . .
Dont give up its worth, I tell. . .
the people here they will not yell
they listen to music, quiet they do. .
but the smile on their lips is worth it, every noon
that you might sing here. . .
is not wasted, that shall every bard know and hear. . . .
*he trails of with his song, smiling to himself dripping a tear on the ground knowing one of his best friends was a memner of the grove and is now dead, long gone before this day had come. . .then a smile steals its way on his lips as he looks at the young tree. . a new begining. . .is what he hopes. . .so the smile stays on his lips as he goes to wash his hands and tries to clean his clothes the best he can, before he steped over to the middle of the grove, simply sitting down and waiting for new inspirations to come, as he has found them here the best, at any time*
//heh hope this wasnt too long, thanks for anyone who spend time and effort to read it, for anyone who wants to know the place of the tree, its placed on the little patch of earth surrounded by the small river at the end of the grove ^^ if its still possible to place it there that means

// Eh... forgot to mention a few things. Over the month following the incident the trees and plant life in the grove grows at a tremendous speed and is restored far faster than any druidic spells or duir seeds could do on thier own. Mid level and up with druidic classes would know that, or rangers with a decent lore/level. So yeah, construction during that time on rebuilding the treehouse and other additions to the grove. Still open for ideas on anything the grove needs. If enough people want to view it first and comment, I may bug Suney to host the mod sometime. So... tell if you want to do that.

Yea Jen I have one,
Add a shrine in a small glade for Mielikki. Figuring that most of the Grove will be devoted to Ubi Hai and Silvanus hehe.

Ok good. I just did the biggest nature deities, along with books about them as well. There's also a herb garden and crafting table that Feo's going to help me remake into new materials that are different from the Salandrans. The enterence is more fortified, and rangers will have AI and patrol the forest. Any other ideas? I'd like to get this done in the next week or so for review.

Alitha wonders about welcoming the new Rangers athat are helping to guard the Grove, introducing herself with a warm smile on her face. She lets them know that if they ever need anything to come and ask her or Theos. She also lets them know they are more then welcomed to help themselves to the pie in the cabinet.
//Anyone have an idea where Isolia went? Poor Naerth can't like being single lol... Really did she leave a note or anything or was that an oversight? Alitha and her talked off and on (yes via DMs for quite a bit of that ) so the sudden disappearace is a bit odd. OH and there are a bit too many cushions in the sleeping area.... it's a bit hard to walk around over in that area.. but otherwise it looks great, thanks for the hard work *huggles*
