~Journal Entry , Year 8 of the War. - General Kortrov of the Cordor Militia~

It has been 8 longing years of the war . . 8 years of the continual fighting, the constant bloodshed, the tyranny, the endless battles, the continual suffering of those who deserve none of it. Yet to this day, it still continues, and for many more, it shall still go forward. For a price we are paying heavily at - To what is this price worth? The Families? The loved ones? The only city these people have left to call home apon these lands. Yet at times, the soldiers and myself think alike - Will there be a end to this? Or shall another Horde rise and take its place. Will more and more threats continue to rise during times of trouble. Throughout the entire history of Cordor we have had to survive extinction from so many diffrent problems.

Yet this one, feels diffrent. This time it feels that we are on the verge of being close to either certain victory, or complete extinction.

I still believe its diffrent this time, all because of the releasement of General Thornius, yet in his death, his vile plot continues to unfold and spread like a desiese - Leaving the scar of Thornius apon amia's face. Every time we win a battle, the land around us has been completely destroyed and ruined. The Horde consumes anything and everything in their path, they are completely devouring the lands before them to ensure it cannot be used by mankind again. Thier King Akadormi sees this as perfect, he cares not about the minor battles, but focuses on the main points in his conquest - Our extermination. While he has unlimited supporters and followers, we loose more numbers as the days continue.

It worries myself even more, to that our city that we fight for, has been going continual ongoing massive changes while we do its fighting - Many feel as if the Militia have been long forgotten while we have been fighting off the Horde fronts. Does the duke even know of our existance? Do those greed filled adventerurs even realize the emass reprecussions of the War if it is lost apon our fronts?

I still give the soldiers hope, I always get to know every single man apon the fronts, I know thier names - know thier past, letting them know i do recognize them as a person and not a tool. They need morale, they need hope in this War.

General Scipii of the Axis Republic's forces has been busy with the fronts in the Skull Crag regions . . the thickest of the Horde forces. While at the same time I am glad these Republic forces did arrive to aid us in the war, I still never do get used to the technologies they bring with them from thier Capitol Republic. Flintlocks with the ability to rip through even the toughest Horde armors, thier steel mechanized battle suits, thier flying vessels. Some of our divisions made a stop within the actual Republic Capitol, a place of amazement they had told us with immense architechure and floral work. Statues rising far abouve to a mountain's hieght - a immense Ampitheature where thier Emperor preforms musical preformances for crowds of thousands.

The Fronts have held to this point, but the numbers of our forces are dwindling, the Republic's Emperor is sending another division to aid in the fronts, alas though we still need to focus apon the main point in, where is the Horde's king. He is out there, watching this entire movement as a game of chess. From his back, those twisted beings who once served thornius, now guard the Horde's precious King. All would have changed if that Devil was never released into this plane.

I end this entry to yet go out to another battle that will most likely take place this night, forever this war may last; forever I must stand for my people.
